Our new and improved compact pouch lifejacket, now with spray hood! This new design fits comfortably around the waist, and out of the way, keeping the arms and neck free during flying.
An extremely compact waist belt design lifejacket for use by pilots and passengers of light aircraft travelling over water. The waistband is adjustable (full length measures 47 inches) and is fastened with a large plastic buckle, making it easy to take on and off.
This easy access design ensures it is always ready for use. When required, the lifejacket can be quickly removed from the waist belt pouch (quick access velcro) and placed over the wearer's head. Once outside the aircraft the lifejacket can be quickly inflated by pulling the initiation cord. The CO2 cylinder will release, inflating the lifejacket in 5 seconds.
The lifejacket has a buoyancy of 150 newtons and supports the neck, holding the head and airways above the water.
The lifejacket also comes with a spray hood, helping to keep the head dry and reducing sea water intake.
